Some of you may be familiar with how blogging works, while some of you may not. Thus, in order to help everyone get acclimated to the class blog, let's start with something simple: Tell us a little bit about yourself. The title of this post (and every other post you write in this class) should be your first and last name, followed by your class period. For example - "John Smith, 1st hour." In this post, tell us five things about yourself, such as number of siblings, favorite sports, favorite foods, favorite movies, career goals, so on and so forth. I would like to be an animator, photographer, or a pharmasist when I grow up. Out of my family that is, and is going to school currently, I am the only Seckman Jaguar. The rest went to Fox. My favorite thing to study in World History is probably the ancient civilizations like Rome and Greece. I don't know why, but they're cool.

I've lived in Missouri my entire life, and my household is the only part of my family that lives here. I like to draw and write when I can, and I plan to have a carreer that has something to do with art when I get older. I don't really like sports and I'm not very good at any of them. I've always liked history, but ancient greece and ancient rome interest me a lot for some reason.

"I was 5 minutes from work when the first plane hit the news and inside my office when they announced the second one on the radio."
How did you feel?
" Of course it made me very sad and angry at the sametime. Not America it shouldn't happen here ever."
What was your immediate reaction?
"I was so sad for the people and families that were being directly affected. I wanted to go get my kids and keep them safe!"

"America pulled together again as we always do when tragedy strikes."
In what ways do you think that America, and the World for that matter, have changed in the past 10 years as a result?
"We are more protective of our security. Everyone realizes it doesn't matter where you live. Terrorism can hit anywhere!"
